Small Business Development Conference Expert Panel

Angela Vithoulkas, co-founder and host on Eagle Waves Radio, has been asked to participate in the Digital Economy Panel of the Small Business Development Conference on 1st November, 2011.  Angela will be joined on the Panel by representatives from NBN Co, Google, SENSIS, Net Registry.

The Eagle Panel

Angela is well experienced to participate on a panel regarding  business as she also participates in ‘The Eagle Panel’ every Wednesday evening live on Eagle Waves Radio along with Jay Singh and Irene Ross.  The Eagle Panel explores the world of business and the business owner by asking questions of their radio guests that no-one else does.

Small Business Development Conference

Small Business Development Conference will be held from Sunday 30th October to Tuesday 1st November 2011 at the Swiss Grand Resort and Spa, Bondi Beach, Sydney.

'The Challenge of the Changing World'

The conference program aims at exploring the wide range of aspects, which affect sustainable business development. Focus is on practitioner skills development; resource enhancement; management; industry outcomes; the entrepreneurial environment; the role of innovation and training; communications; government involvement and the knowledge economy in which we are working.

Overall the conference intends to achieve the following:

  • Improve community understanding of regional economies and the labour market and how these are changing
  • Increase the capacity of a local community to respond to structural and cyclical change
  • Improve practioner skills and regional skills bases
  • Improve understanding of business incubation and improvements that can be made
  • Increase the opportunity for development of small business.
